Green bananas

So, does anyone remember when Pres. Hinckley said something like, "I don't even buy green bananas anymore because I might not live to see them ripen!"? When and where did he say that? I love that man!

Hello there, Karmen,

I was so excited to see that you had signed our guest book! Even more so to see that you have started a blog so we can see what your cute family is up to! It has been a LONG time! I think the last time we saw you guys was at Ben's wedding. We were pregnant with Easton and you had just found out you were having another girl! Where does the time go?! How do you like Burley? I have an aunt that grew up there. Her brother still lives there so they frequent it often. Take care and we'll talk soon -Kellie Elzinga & Fam

Karmen,
You babe! Guess what with gups help it looks as though you have been up to this along time. I am figuring it out too. A little at a time with spare minutes. Usually late at night or like right now when me and my hus aren't speaking. That really frees up time you know. He He. I'll put you on mine and we'll talk soon. Steph thegunnsters.blogspot.com

That's pretty funny about the green bananas. I don't know when he said that, but I will keep my eyes out for it and let you know if I run across it. A friend of mine send me a poem about President Hinckley that I think you would like. I will send it to you when I get to work. It's on my work computer.

Karmen!! Where have you been? It's about time you joined the blogging world with the rest of your fam!! I miss you! How's Idaho? Christian's sister, Becky lives in Emmett. (I think it's close to Boise.) How far away is that from you?

I don't know if this is exactly what you were looking for, but they do mention it here. Someone else also said he said it at a Regional Conference in Georgia. (I just googled Gordon Hinckley Green Bananas.) Love ya!
