I'm alive...I'm alive...barely...

Hello! It's been a month since I've blogged anything and boy, have I been missing out! It looks like I'm not the only one who has a busy life, but can't it just slow down once in a while?! That'd be nice. You see, in the past, when I had a free moment, that's when I would blog...read yours, post on my own, etc. Well, in the last month, if I had a free moment, I was reading the Stephenie Meyer books (finally!) and, as you know, once you start reading them, nothing else gets done! No housework, no church callings, no blogging, nothing.

Well, I have to say, I'm actually a big fan of Jacob Black. Most of you love Edward Cullen, but I am drawn to Jacob and I don't know why! I guess that I'll have to wait until August to find out if I'm still a Jacob fan...

A few weeks ago, we packed up (jeep and all!) and headed to St. George for a much-needed get-a-way! The weather was perfect and the company was even better! Ben and Nadja were there too and they stayed at my Mom and Pop's house and we stayed at Val and Kory's house. Joel and Kally were a hop, skip and a jump away, but the best part (no offense to the rest of you) was that I was reunited with Keith!

As most of you know, I hadn't seen Keith, my twin brother, my other half, my womb-mate, whatever you want to call it, for 3 1/2 years! He's only in Vegas and I'm only in Idaho, but for whatever reason, he couldn't come to a lot of family things in the last few years and I wasn't able to get to the get-togethers that he was at! Since I'm the older twin (by a good 3 minutes)I demanded he meet me in St. George and he did exactly as I said! (Kinda like the fly-swatter-licking scenario when we were young). It was also Brian's birthday (crap! another thing I need to blog about!) so we had a birthday party in St. George and the twins reunited!....

That is such a cute pic. I can't believe you hadn't seen each other for 3 1/2 years!

BTW, I can still my slideshow. Do you have a blocker on your computer? We have a blocker called K-9 and I have to enter a password to be able to go to websites like Myspace and Facebook and Youtube and I've noticed that sometimes my slideshows and other people's slideshows won't work if I haven't entered my password recently. So I don't know if that's why you and Guppy can't see it, just a guesss!

Tell your dang twin HI!!! (If you see him within the next 3 years).
I can't believe you are a Jacob fan. He's a nice guy but I really finds a gal of his own. Or I guess he can have Bella and I'll take Edward.
Okay- so where did you hear that Jake's bishop. I don't remember putting it in any blog- I try not to mention it ever.

It's about freakin' time you got into these books! You know, I've always loved BOTH Jacob & Edward, so I was always in an inner turmoil (Oh, for the love of Pete, just kiss Jacob a few times.. Yikes! I sound like a fornicater...) whenever she was with Jacob. But in my mind, Edward was so drop dead gorgeous that I pushed the thoughts of Jacob aside. Now that the movie is being filmed, I went and looked at who is cast for each of the characters, and Jacob black is TOTALLY hotter than Edward! You should go check it out on Stephenie Meyers website. I hope when I see the movie, Edward will become hotter to me. Oh, my heck! I just re-read my entire comment & I sound like a stupid teenager with no life who lives vicariously thru fake lives... Waah me!

I love Keith. The end.

Oh Gup, you don't think that I've ALREADY scoped out the website and checked up on the progress of the movie and who's playing who...I'm hooked!
Maybe we should plan a girls night to go see the flick when it comes out! We haven't had a sisters' night in a long time! Do you think Keith could be a bloodsucker? Oh, wait, we saw him sweat...he's a wolf!

I can't believe you hadn't seen your "Womb-mate" in three and a half years (I loved it when you called him that in H.S.) Looks like a fun trip!

Val - you are not alone in being left out of all the Stephenie Meyers madness...I, too, am out of the loop, but hopefully not for long! Nadja let me borrow the first 2 books, but I still haven't found the time to crack one open yet. I'm in on the movie-thing, too - maybe we should plan our next sisters weekend then? It's also Deb-t's birthday. And YAY Karmen! I'm so glad you finally got to see Keefy again. You two look great in the picture!

Hi- this is Catrina's sis. I got your comment on my blog and OF COURSE I rememeber you, and your siblings :) I am a recent Twilighter myself and my housework and calling did suffer for a couple of weeks while I read the series. I visit the authors website more often than I have time to!

Hey Karmen-
I've decided to take my blog private. Send me your email because I'd love to send you an invite.

Hey, don't any of you read my daughter's blog? I've already PROMISED Brooklyn & Kenna that I'd take them to Logan for opening night of Twilight! Debbie's Birthday, December 12th. If we make it a sister's night, I HAVE to include them, cause I promised them first... they've read them, too. Oh, the pull I'm in. Who should I be loyal to? Waah!

Tim here, thanks for the message on our blog! You have a great looking family. I saw Joel at our show in Cedar, and I also saw your parents at a TREK show in St. George. Love the family blogging thing! I am trying to get our family to start a blog. Its a great way to stay in touch.

Much to comment on here. First and foremost: I LOVE the pic of you and Keith! Can't wait for the reunion next month, either.
Ok, now for twilight. Total fan. They are honoring me and my fanatacism by having the movie come out on my birthday. I've pre-0rdered my copy of "Breaking Dawn" at a discounted price. They are awesome! And it's hard NOT to like Jacob. Too many times his feelings get hurt but it's his own fault for being so persistant all the while knowing Bella's viewpoint on things. We should book club this at the reunion so I'm not taking up so much time..... Bring it on Campbell's! Val, I'll bring you my copies...

I forgot the two of you are twins! It's great you could get together. Twins need to get together once in awhile!

I love the fun picture collage of Ben's party! It's so nice seeing all of your family. They all look terrific! And hooray for Ben! That's a tough thing finishing school while raising a family. So glad they've made it through and can start enjoying the fruits of all that labor.
